I realize that my board has nowhere near the visitation that Tony Blake's board or some other have. But I still wanted to use this board to pass along some extremely sad news.
Sean Hargreaves, the courageous 18-year-old who was fighting leukemia for the past 2 years, succombed to the illness last evening.
To all of you who assisted me and donated both time and money sincere thanks. And God Bless you.
Rest In Peace, Sean.

I'm so sorry Jim. I cannot imagine the pain his parents are in.
I'm sure he was surrounded by those who love him.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Sean's family as well as you and the other members of the fire department.
Last Sunday, a 19 year old young man here in Grand Forks, named Jason Stadstad, passed away after a three year battle with brain cancer.
Shortly after his diagnosis, doctors told Jason he had only weeks to live - something he was to hear several times in the ensuing three years. He responded by graduating from high school with a 4.0 grade average and earning a scholarship, playing on his high school hockey team, and was active in several other sports. His positive attitude, cheerful smile, and unwillingness to let cancer get the better of him, inspired and motivated the entire city.
After reading the newspaper article about Sean, it sounds like he had the same attitude and was made of the same stuff. While this is a time for grieving and sorrow, always remember that Sean's courage and spirit will live on as an inspiration to others in Melbourne.
