My daughter informed me that she had a special assignment for school today. When I inquired as to just what the special assignment was and why she had to work on it, her reply was pretty funny.
"It's Pi day, Dad. And we have to bring a pie to class to share with others."
Being as it wasn't that long ago that I completed my Algebra requirements for my degree, it wasn't hard for me to recognize what she was referring to. But I still got a kick out of the fact that her instructor was celebrating "Pi day".
Perhaps it was just a matter of that teacher wanting some pie?
