I knew you were talking about changing the forums over, and congrats on the move. The forums look fantastic.

I didn't see anything in the forum rules regarding sig files, are they allowed? If not I will change mine.

Looking forward to seeing this place pick back up.

BTW ... is Google indexing the new forums like they did the old ?

Do you work at Spacely Sprocket?

For anyone too young (including you, Scott because I don't know your age), Spacely Spocket is from the Jetsons cartoon.

Wait, I just confused myself...
Was Spacely Sprocket the name of the building and Mr. Spacely was the owner... or was Spacely Sprocket the boss' name?

Yep, I remember the Jetsons very well, and I do believe Spacely Sprockits is the name of the company which Mr. Spacely ran, and they made Sprockits ;)

The name is actually part of my first initial and last name, back in 1995 I sold a domain name www.ebookit.com for 10K (back when you could sell just a domain) and I remembered I obtained several great domains just by placing an I and T at the end.

So SPROCK just got an IT on the end .... :D

Natalie, from looking at your picture, you are WAY too young to have remembered the Jetsons (at least during their original run, which I do remember).

My profile pic was taken back in 2003 (a "self portrait" taken in my dining room office). I'd love to make it my avatar but haven't found the place where I can make it happen...

However, I am 39 and remember the Jetsons well.
That picture was taken when my youngest son was 1, so it was 4 years ago.
Just about the same time I found this message board, Jim =)

I STILL want the face mask Jane Jetson used in the mornings to do her hair and makeup in 1 second. LOL
