It is funny how things work out sometimes. In my Algebra course we had to take screenshots of graphs we created and they recommended a software for the job. Low and behold this software has all of the qualities of something people might find useful when they basically want to take some screenshots of their ebooks and software covers.

It is called HyperSnap. Search for it on any major SE, download the free 20 day trial, and see what you think.

This is in no way a paid endorsement folks. This software made my homework a snap (no pun intended) and the learning curve to put it to use is nice and low - just the way most of us like it. :)

Jim, I'm curious....

Does the typical PC come with anything out of the box to do this with?

On a Mac, it's built right in (we have a program called "grab") and works really slick - I use it a lot.

I assumed all PC's could do the same thing with a similar stock program.

Am I missing something here?

Hey Jim,

PCs do have some features that allow a little of what this software will do but it allows me to actually edit the files at will, clean them up, and lots of other things that ultimately make for a more powerful software than is (well was) on my pc.

I used it throughout my Algebra course and was pleasantly impressed and surprised. It was definitely a time saver for me and considering how long it can take to do some of the more difficult math problems, this was a HUGE selling point for me.

In my humble, it is at least worth a look-see for those pc users like myself.
