Thank you, both, very much for your input.
I think I agree that much of it is information for a beginnner that I am aware of already. I was hoping that they could help take me to the next level, and the software they offer looks great. But I decided $2000 was just too much for me (it's not just a weekend now, it's a whole online course). I just assumed that they would be power-sellers! Maybe that was a bad assumption and something to question. Their affiliate program is an incredible payout, but my biggest challenge right now, as with many others, is becoming good at advertising.
