It is happening again! My daughter (adult, subscriber to your Silent Sales Machine)received a call from a Chris Hamm who claimed to be calling from "Jim Cockrum's Success Team" mentoring program. She set up a second call for the three of us (it is my business for the most part.) During that call, Chris, only a so-so telemarketer (I am a professional TM, so I know) proceeded to continue to make the provervial bad name for TM! He was shifty, unclear, vague (all mean the same thing?) asked ALMOST personal financial questions ("most people don't hqave enough money to invest in their business - they are living on their credit cards - maxing them and never pay them off - does that sound like you?" "I'm asking because I want to be sure you qualify for the program.") He also used the infamous "...use other people's money..." - he infurred that my credit cards are the bank's money, NOT MINE!

Of course, as described in the other complaints, I was subjected to another call from Chris's "Director" Ryan Moore. This man did finally give me a price quote - $2483, to beb put on my credit card of course! and which, of course, is TAX DEDUCTIBLE AND IS FOR "lifetime" SERVICES. He also said that they GURANTEE SUCCESS (as I percieve "success") in 6 months. The guarentee??????If my business is not successful in that time AND I HAVE COMPLETED EVERYTHING REQUESTED OF ME - THEY WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH ME UNTIL IT IS SUCCESSFUL! DAH!!!! It is supposeed to be a "lifetime" program!

When I suggested that I smelled a scam, he very neatly offered to "FIND" your email and give it to me (Sorry, he couldn't give out your phone number, although he talks with you every day!)

I hope this IS NOT your company This kind of service would be VERY helpful to those of us who are trying to put an ecomerce business together, so this scam is very enticing. Why don't you put together a REAL version of this? Now, most of the needed information is available, but in bits and pieces, here and there. No book can TAKE THE PLACE OF A PERSONAL MENTOR!
