If everyone recalls a few years back a lot of people who were heavily invested in the stock market really looked good on paper but when all was said and done they ended up broke. The "junk bonds" just didn't work out.

Simple...

Better to retain a profit and no title than a title and no profit.

I know a number of powersellers who aren't on ebay anymore because even though they were making a GROSS of over the required amount to be a powerseller, that GROSS amount did not tell the real story. The so-called "real story" lay in the NET profits made.

Yes it is a wonderful thing to maintain PS status. That is so long as you are actually making the profits you and your company should be making for the efforts. A wise man (Gary H.) once said that the pay must match the efforts put into making it. It took me awhile to come around but folks let me tell you something. Time is the one thing that you can't get back once you have spent it and there is never enough of it in the first place. So you had better make sure that the money you make as a result of your efforts makes it worth those efforts in the first place!
