Hey Nat,
Competition is indeed a good thing. So long as both parties (or all parties perhaps) are willing to raise the bar and lower the prices as opposed to the opposite. And so long as the consumer gets the same value.
With Google in the running I believe there is actually some competition on the horizon for eBay. And those who get into this one early and establish their niche' environments will make the most money for the longest period of time.
But...
I wonder what plan of attack Google might use to take on the combination of eBay and Paypal.
