In Response To: Using Wholesalers For Auctions. (Barry)

Finding things to sell in mass is THE ongoing challenge of selling online and especially on EBay.

Here are a couple of tips/sources:

1. Try to think of something specific that you would like to sell. For example, software. Then target your search for products to center on this specific realm. Broad searches often lead to "TMI". (too much info)

2. Try the Thomas Registry online. This is like the phone book for businesses online. You can find it at http://thomasregistry.com Yes, it's an uphill and somewhat difficult search but with time, patience, and perserverance, you can find some great sources.

3. Look on EBay for Wholesale Resources. Yes, many of these are the same info that's been around for years. But if you find one from a seller with lots of positive feedback then chances are you are on the right track. As a matter of fact I myself just bought a CD from EBay that has a list of Wholesalers. I paid $9 for it including shipping. It was worth every penny.

4. I was recently invited to join a "Wholesale Club. The fee was $0.99 and from what I saw the products seemed interesting enough. The link for this is below. It's worth at least taking a look-see.

5. Go the a well visited board such as http://ablake.net/forum and actually post something to the effect of:
I am interested in selling on EBay. I am most interested in selling ENTER PRODUCT HERE. Can anyone recommend a good supplier?

Thanks in advance,

Now this won't guarantee a reply but it's worth a try too. (can't hurt to try it afterall it's free)

There you have it...my two cents worth. Hope it helps. Good luck on EBay!
