The Importance of Residual Income

Folks,

If you haven't already started to build it, you should get started as soon as you can. I am referring to residual income. In other words payments that keep coming in regardless of what you are involved in at the time.

Think about it this way...

You have an opportunity to make some money. You can make some great sales and in the period of about a week you can make about $1000. But then whatever you were selling is now gone and that income isn't going to come anymore. Hey, at least you made some money though right?

But then there is "Residual Income". This comes from things that just keep making money. Affiliate programs are one awesome source. Also there is the so-called "back-end sales" or sales that are as a result of other sales you already made.

So what are the benefits of residual income?

1. It is income that keeps coming in. Almost like a retirement check. And, in the case of the Internet, it usually continues building regardless of your marketing efforts.
2. You can work on other projects with potential while the money is still coming in from the residuals. This can mean still being able to find products that allow you to both build sources of other residual income as well as quick cash sales items.
3. Essentially, with the affiliate programs, you have other people start selling the same product after having signed on under you. They make money and so do you. The affiliate company is responsible for delivering whatever was purchased.

So what is my number one money maker? (To the tune of about $200 per month with no ads at all!)
Those who have visited AuctionHints for any length of time know that I don't like placing ads on my board. But in this case I will make an exception. The fact is this site is all about helping people make money. And that's what this post can do.

1. The DropShip Resource Directory - cost nothing to sign on as an affiliate and it sells itself. You make over $17 per sale you make and $7 for any sales people who signed on under you make in the future. I made over $300 last month from it and, as you all know, I am in classes again. I have not run any ads in over a month, nearly two. Talk about residual income!

2. ClickBank - if you are not a member, you should be. There are so many profitable affiliate programs you can sell through ClickBank I cannot count them all. Literally thousands. If you are not a member yet it cost $50 to sign up. But it will be the best $50 you spent on your business.

There you have it. There are some other affiliate deals that I market. Host4Profit and DateTek. I have not really placed any ads for them yet but when I decided to sign up, I registered domains just for them.

In both cases the potential of residual income once I really start marketing them is incredible.

Bottom line...look for the residual income. It means a future for your business. And it builds upon itself..

Good Luck!
