If you purchased the money order at a bank, you would go to the bank and ask for a trace on it.

If you purchased it at a store, on the back of the money order receipt, there should be an address to contact for the trace.

If it is not one of these, you can go to the facility where you purchased the money order and ask for the issuing company address, to request a trace.

Most likely there will be a fee for the company to do this for you.
