In Response To: Rest of Brainstorming (Martin Hopkins)

You are so right Martin! Not many people want to share information for fear that they may give away some good ideas or get ripped off. The fact of the matter is, even if you don't tell someone about an 'idea' you have until you've put it on the market... if it's a good idea, it will be duplicated/copied to some degree shortly after it hits the market anyway.

I'll be honest and say I've found myself at times not wanting to tell someone what I was working on for fear that they may run with my idea and get it out before I do. (I'm the queen of procrastination!)

Anyway, an open, honest, exchange of ideas would be a nice twist for a change. I have a forum in my Member's site and it's stagnant because no one wants to share ideas and information.

The fact of the matter is - there is plenty of room for all of us. We don't all market the same products, ideas, services - and for those that do - it's all in whether or not YOUR offer gets found or THEIR offer gets found first... not to mention different advertising styles, personalities, etc that end up selling the buyer on YOU. It all comes into play.

Anyway, I've rattled on too much for my first post. :)

Regards,
Robbin
