Actually there is a strong following in the video game communities for using a niche online auction place called Bidiots! The name is a little weird, but I guess so is yahoo and google and what the heck is ebay supposed to mean.
So its an easy name to remember, and very professional site, so far I've used it, bidville (more like ghostville, nobody seems to buy over there) and Yahoo Auctions.... now Yahoo is supposed to be like the #2 service to ebay? There posting system really stinks.
I've been using bidiots.com for a month now and I've sold over a dozen items and I've found some good deals on some video game items. Some really big ticket items like specialized gaming computers and big full sized arcade games are now being sold on the site, so things are really picking up over there.
This is the first time I've seen or used a niche site and obviously in this case, its working.
Give bidiots.com a try if you're into videogames, pool tables and gameroom stuff, well worth it in my book.
