English Ebay

I reside in England and have a friend who is into
Star Trek (no, it really is a friend, not me ;) )
he goes to all the conventions over here and collects autographs, etc.
Recently he has expressed an interest in the Internet but gave up on an idea (he's a programmer) and decided to stick with the hobby.
Now, I looked on ebay.com and found some wonderful avenues for offering ST autographs...tehn I thought 'ughh...shipping costs'..then I looked at ebay.co.uk and there was not a single ST autograph for sale (I guess he might need ot buy as well as sell).

Anyway, has anyone any tips for UK users of ebay? I might look into it myself in a couple of months though I have not a clue what to sell.
