SCAM ALERT!

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know about a couple of scams out there that center on the online auctions.

SCAM #1 - The Paypal Scam - you are innocently going through the email of the day when you get an "Urgent Email Message From Paypal". This message will request that you click on a link the message provides in order to verify your Paypal Id and password. Should you click on the link the page that opens looks awfully legit. It will ask you for your email addresses used on Paypal along with your password. DO NOT give them this info. IT IS A SCAM. You have to ask yourself....why would anyone at the real Paypal have to ask for your info? They would not...

SCAM #2 - The Ebay Scam - works the same as the Paypal scam but they ask for your Ebay user ID and pass. Once again Ebay WILL NOT ask for your info. Ever....

Forewarned is forearmed. Don't fall victim to the scammers. If you get an email that seems out of the ordinary why not check with the real company it supposedly came from to make sure it's legit. And if you did already get this and you gave out your info change it...NOW!

Good luck all as usual,
Jim Wilson
